lovapalooza

With time ,he traversed through many lives
And languished at many worlds ,but when
the rays fell upon those golden fields
The radiance from it was too inviting
for him to suspect
He heard a lot about them
-The eternal sunshine and the many dreams
With a pure exuberance he set foot on those lands
making no efforts to conceal his excitement
Gorgeous colors painted his vision

A distant desolate crooning welcomed him
but he chose not to hear anything
Into those cherished woods he entered
with eyes tightly closed ,
he wanted it to be a surprise

Eyes opened, to a graveyard of dreams
Uprooted trees everywhere,
The desolate crooning became clearer
It was as if all the trees were mourning in unison
It wasn’t anything they always spoke about
Those enchanting rhythms, ever lasting rapture that always went along
And all of then ,a waft of fragrance flew past
It was something he knew, it was in the air
It filled him with hope.
Gathering himself, he followed it
It led into a garden- withered roses on everyside
a few trampled and a few awaiting death
Wingless birds groveling on land
and mutilated leaves hanging to the stems

A heavy silence creeped inside
He vowed never to probe into these lands
and turned around to get back
But from the edge of the world where he now stood ,
he only had one way to go
